Synopsis:
The story of The shadow walkers depicts a world in which reality does not exist. To guard oneself from the horrors of everyday life, the protagonists in the story create their own humane world, alongside the threatening outside world. A small world in which everyone refuses to grow up and take part in the formal, adult world.

Two brothers, married to two sisters, but in fact with just the wrong one, walk through their provincial town and observe. They make connections between their observations and draw possible conclusions, without actually acting on them. Observing is not a means, but an end in itself. The brothers meet each evening for their daily shadowing; they follow random passers-by, sometimes for miles, to see where fate takes them and end up in odd situations. One brother accepts the ultimate consequence of ‘shadow walking’.
