Four times my heart - Heddy Honigmann
Original Dutch film title:
VIER MAAL MIJN HART
Year:
1990

17 minutes
Tagline:
Four young actresses début in a poetic film about love and life.
Logline:
A ‘love relay’ about a dreamer, a seducer, a socially conscious and a shy woman.
Synopsis:
There are lots of ways to say you love someone. There are also lots of ways to film someone who says they are in love. As there are also lots of ways to act someone says … etcetera
Honigmann chose four of these possibilities for a film experiment in which four young actresses still at drama school all do the same thing in different ways. They are in a park talking to themselves.
Honigmann shows that very strict and conceptual means can be used to make a very light and playful film. It can be regarded as a filmmaker’s manifesto, but also as a comedy.
