Synopsis:
The film is about a fatherless family, preoccupied with literature, occupies a terrifyingly large house in the south of Amsterdam. The son wants to marry the woman across the road who is suspected of murder. In doing so he disrupts their stable family life, described by the mother as “a construction of immobility”. The effects of this intrigue are bizarre and ambiguous. The storyline seems to be a fantasy in the head of the lodger cousin. He wants to be a writer, and is looking for a good plot.
