At the International Film Festival Rotterdam 2005 VEERE won the Tiger Cub Award. The jury consisted of Kathleen Forde (USA), Mariska Graveland (The Netherlands) and Kerry Laitala (USA).
Jury statement: Veere by David Lammers was chosen because its intensifies your view of moving objects that you normally overlook, completed with a very delicate use of sound and music.
